Thanks for that Andy, brought back events from many years ago and some wonderful times around 1958/59 in and around Runcorn. Our bass player had one, derived from an electric tea chest! My ears still ache.

Mine is more like the sound of waves, I can hear the tides, even when in bed, I too used to enjoy loud music, being a child of the 70's, now i can't stand too loud environments. I only play at open mic,s and small gatherings, ( I'm a singer/ song writer)
