Thanks Again Reebs and well done.

If you wanted to change to real walnut as many people do. Find a pre project drive car that has real walnut and is being broken as I don't think you can buy it new

Just another twist in the complicated options world of the Rover 75 I guess??

There must be other cars out there with this combination? Anyone?

Derek

Derek,

I've gone back to my notes, and taken a closer look at the EPC's description of WSC, and I stand corrected

You are absolutely right, under the Rover 75 Personal Line Trim Combinations, the description reads: Gunsmoke Alcantara in an Ash Grey/Smokestone Duotone trim enviroment, exactly what you have in your car.

This means that there is indeed a seperate trim code for the ZT equivalent (with Ash Grey fabric door cards - not Light Smokestone). Now I have to try and track that one down as it's not listed

I had wrongly assumed the 75 and ZT trims were identical.

I have amended the mistake in the thread, and with your permission, I've included your picture to illustrate the correct entry for WSC.

Please say if you'd rather I didn't and I'll remove it.

Many thanks for pointing it out, after spending about two weeks looking at trim codes and cross referencing I'm starting to go boss eyed over it all

Hi Reebs

No problem using the photo and many thanks for all your hard work in putting together the various reference threads you have posted.

I feel bad for picking up on this now!

At least I now know my colour scheme if I need any bits for the interior!

Regards

Derek

No problem Derek,

I welcome any omissions, or possible errors (I'm only human), it's all for the greater good of getting a definative list together, so please don't feel bad my friend

Paul.

Always like to read the threads of Reebs, fantastic an thanks for the info. Very interesting.
I can't check the code of my car now because it is at the garage for a new engine and a leather interior.
Then I've got a wedgewood blue Car with a , I think, sandstone beige
leather Interior.

Hmm, on the plate on my car it states LBB -but the seats are deep sea green leather. The dash has the AIRBAG text embedded - but it is clearly plastic, at least going by the feel and the gaps around the vents.

What else is green in your interior? Door card armrests, dashboard top, centre cubby box lid?

If any of these are Ash Grey, then I would be inclined to believe that the Deep Sea Green seats would have been fitted after the car left Longbridge.

According to the Rover Electronic Parts Catalogue, the real wood dash was fitted to cars up until VIN 238547, after which it was the plastic wood version, where does your car's VIN fall, before or after?

Can you post up a picture of your interior, and possibly the wooden dash too.

VIN is 22303x.
Ok, now after reading the thread thoroughly there is probably nothing strange at all with my car. I was just looking at the pics of the leather seats in the other thread and deep sea green was the closest - but clearly it is Ash grey.

The dash then:

Plasticky feel and the gaps around the centre vents and the drivers vent are awful:

But then again, on the passenger side there is no gap at all:

So I suppose the dash has been off at some point and probably I should try to put it back in place. Then maybe some annoying noises would stop as well. Do you reckon it is the wooden dash?
