Just the Rovers
There were 38 LHD Rover 75 V8's in total, including the 3 Tourers.
Originally destined country of export: Germany 12, Holland 11, Belgium 4, Sweden 4, Switzerland 3, Spain 2, France 1 and Italy 1. Of those cars, the black saloons, excluding Black Olive, so just Pearl Black and Raven Black, were: Sweden 1 (#738), Germany 5 (#871, #864, #859, #857, #824) and France 1 (#847).. I think! One Tourer, #849, was in Pearl Black and sent to Switzerland. Which one is yours? David Last edited by DeeJ; 22nd July 2021 at 08:45.. |

According to MGR's own data, there 887 VIN numbers known to have been used between 001 and 883 in total. 4 were duplicate in the sense that the last 3 digits were the same (004, 005,007 and 008), which is why it is 887 not 883! There could possibly have been more duplicates, but if so, none have survived. The 'split' (theoretically) is: MG ZT 260, 570 MG ZT-T 260, 150 Rover 75 V8 Saloon, 151 Rover 75 V8 Tourer, 16 Loads more information over on the 'Two-Sixties' Forum.
