My bet is on the drop links or the bottom ball joint. Interesting that the antiroll bar rubbers have been mentioned, but would that give a knock over rough ground/ speed bumps?

If you are noticing the noise is worst over rough ground/speed bumps I'd say it's very likely one of the lower arms, probably only one side gone but could be both.

If you jack the car up and rock the wheels you should be able to tell if it is the lower arm.

Not a major job and an entire arm along with bush can be bought from DMGRS
