Yes - I did it on mine.

The standard DIN width was too great for the width of the head unit though

For what they are, I find them obscenely expensive.

Unfortunately there isn't an alternative yet

That's a pity, but worth a try. I don't know if it's the same guy that I used.
As far as value for money goes, they are about 1/2 inch thick and a lot more substantial than the awful plastic OE one with the storage tray.

Apparently he has never sold one of his fascias cheap, and would never be prepared to do so, and actually got quite nasty with me suggesting that he give me a discount! If it wasn't him you got it from then it looks like there may be someone else doing them? If you could remember where you got it from it could be a REALLY good 'other avenue' for us to explore

The guy is called Brian Lau. In California, I think.
His email is [email protected]

He used to have an ebay shop, but I can't find it now. I remember he did tell me not to mention that he had discounted the fascia. He wanted a photo of the finished job for an advert, which may have been why he sold me it cheap. I don't know. Is this the same guy?

Sounds like it could be someone different as this guy is called Rich Silva.

I've sent him and email so we'll see what he has to say :-)

Also available from Germany here.

There is also a double din mounting kit that may be of interest here.

That said I don't know any German so best check the detail.

Well actually I do know a little German....called Hans.

I'm sure we have some german members on the site who may be able to assist with translation if asked kindly, maybe we could see if we could negotiate a group discount, similar to the one with the US supplier.

What do you think?

Andy
