Rhd to lhd headlight beam deflectors
Here I am again in Sunny Spain. Overcast today but chilly just 13 degrees!
My beloved 75 RHD failed it voluntary MOT today on the grounds that the lights dip the wrong way. I have searched but cant find an answers in the threads. Does anybody know where I can purchase those plastic stick on deflectors? The MOT say that these would be acceptable. Also is it only the dipped lights that need the deflectors? in other words just one pair required. Or can I get away with Black insulation tape. If so what part of the glass do I mask? |

Wouldn't trust sticky black tape. The best fit will be the OEM beam deflectors, part number XBQ100810. Problem is Rimmer are out of stock, but these are worth seeking out.
Rimmer (item 6): http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001522 Spotted these on eBay. They also fit other models it seems. eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRAND-NEW-Genu...item2a0aba8a52 TC Last edited by T-Cut; 1st December 2010 at 20:35.. |

Id say by the picture on ebay that these are the deflectors as you can see the black masking that blocks the dipped light. If they were just protectors then surely they would be clear ?

Those shown on the ebay link are definitely the beam adaptors for European driving. the protectors are quite different
