Mot Advisory Notes Rover 75 Vs 2001 Help And Advice
Good day all
I am getting ready for my MOT and like allot of people I would imagine we dont always act on advisory notes from the MOT till its too late In my last MOT I received the following notes which I would like to get advice on how to change and can I do this myself Front both side directions indicators slighly discoloured Rear both side indicators slightly discoloured Is this an easy job to change or replace and should I worry about this failing my MOT? Many thanks |

Simple and relatively cheap to sort- just change all four bulbs. Over time the 'orange' tint on the bulbs comes off. New bulbs and problem sorted.
Just be sure to read the 'how to' on changing the front bulbs so you don't lose those pesky metal clips that hold the bulb unit into the bumper hth

thanks kevin
But looking at the details of having to take the bumper off is a bit daunting for someone who can just about change a plug. I have read here its very easy but it looks the opposite |

No need to go anywhere near the headlights or take the bumper off to change indicator bulbs. The units are separate and low down at the base of the front bumper - they do tho' have a pesky clip each so read the how to!!

It is. Remove the plastic cover in each corner of the boot, then depress the ribbed plastic tab in the centre of centre the lamp unit revealed; pull unit out, remove bulb, fit bulb and put it all back
