My V8 Sat Nav Howto and others

I have had a few PMs about my Sat Nav Howto as people can't find the pictures, I can't even find the thread at all now, it may have ben deleted.

It will not be much use without pictures anyway
I had all the pictures hosted at http://www.midnightphotos.co.uk/
That site seems to be dead now

This will apply to many of my threads that had pictures hosted on Midnight Photos before I switched to Photo bucket sorry but that's them stuffed for now until midnight photos returns if it ever does

Sorry nothing can be guaranteed to be 100% permanent on the interweb thing especially having to rely so heavily on external photo hosting.

The threads without pictures have not been deleted just moved into a private section as they are not a lot of use without them. Hopefully they can be resurrected when / if pictures become available.
It is the intention from now on to ask members writing How To threads to allow their pictures to be hosted on the clubs servers rather than with an external host, we will be working through all the How To documents over time and uploading existing pics to the club server, with the owner's permission..

I haven't been through all as yet, it will take some time. None of yours have been moved, I recall all the How To's we did between us had the pictures uploaded to the system so I don't think we have any problems there. I will PM members for any that need attention. Thanks for the input.

Can I make a suggestion.......convert the how to's into PDF's.....Cute PDF is ideal for it, captures the photos and saves space to....and easier to print out and manage if required

Converting the How-To's into PDF format is something we have discussed such as making them easier to use/print etc. Hopefully this is something that members can look forward to.

I had to resort to hosting images on photobucket, because I used up my allowance on here.

How will this work in my case then?

Don't worry if your own personal allowance is used up - between us, the Team have plenty of space to go around
