Thanks for that

They all look fantastic,so classy.

I've only seen a Royal blue one.Spotted it twice now, once on a misty winters moning as it was pulling away from a junction, the plumes of exhaust gases from the quad pipes looked truely awesome. So smooth yet so powerful, what a car!

The Rover 75 V8 derivatives were ultimately built in all but two colours from the standard colour range (Cimmarron Green and Rio Red) and in a number of the special hues from the Monogram personalisation range (although not all of them).

Royal Blue is without doubt my favourite because it reminds of the classic Admiralty Blue featured on the P5B saloons and Coupes, followed by Black Pearl, Midnight Blue and Chatsworth (I drove the MG Rover Group Press car in this colour back in January 2005 and it looked stunning).

And I wonder now how many are actually left? Was it correct that just over 100 were built, and a few have been written off, so how many survivors are there now I wonder?

166 is the total of 75 V8's built inc. tourers.

Here's a better pic. of Odyssey Blue on my car. The colour is in fact blue/green.
