Default Refurbished Vortex 18 inch Alloys

I've just had set of 18" Vortex Alloys refurbished by BJV Engineering. They were the only company who said they could replicate the diamond turn finish
of the original. You can see the result below - I'm delighted with the set.

I had to pay for a pattern for the lathe, which they now have, so anyone else who needs a set of these done will save £30.00.

Would also be useful if anyone has a V8 with the diamond-turned Star Spoke wheels.

BJV refurbished all four Vortex 18" on my 75 V8 around 18 months ago. Like yours they did a great job, particularly the diamond cutting on their lathe. I have been using them for all my alloy refurbs for around 5 years now.

There are only a limited number of lathe cuts that can be done on each Vortex wheel before it becomes scrap so treat them carefully now

Not sure why the charge for a pattern, but I'll remember that when I next go

Hm - thanks for the reply Mike. Wonder why they charged me if they already had one (presumably) from your set.

I have another set going to them, so I'll make very sure I don't get charged again!
