Agree, as soon as it hits 3c then it's time to be very careful.

Very sorry to hear this.
I'm sure even if a right off you could buy back and soon have on the road for a fraction of the price.

4C and below I watch out as thats normally when frost etc can hit.

Best never to assume the road has been salted unless you KNOW it has. Having said that, I have just driven from Crewe to Rugby and back today and all roads were clear but I obviously could not know in advance; one takes some risks in these conditions. Most of the journey was motorway and we saw the gritters out and about all over the place.

I was only doing about 10mph max as road was so bad. I was approaching traffic lights over a canal bridge as they decided to change to red. If they hadn't changed I reckon I'd be ok as it was the slightest dab on the brake which sent me skidding and as I was going downhill found myself going faster! Luckily I came off where I did as anothe 20 yards and I would have been in the canal.
I'm going to take a look on Monday. Initial inspection it definately needs new bumper, bonnet, front wing, lights, door, mirror, wheel, suspension, probably exhaust as it bottomed out. Sounds expensive!

Sorry to see this Andy,

Is it the bridge by Green Park where you came off?

Yes Mike. I live just up the road and was going in to Aylesbury. The turning into Stablebridge Road was clear and turned left into it to be confronted with a completely white road. As you will be aware as you know the road I was then committed as turning around wasn't possible. At least I was able to walk home.

What a shame such a beautiful car! i love the front brakes and the rear standard spoiler.

My TF is in LQW, great colour! its been written off twice yet its still hear today!

Best of luck! you can always ask for cash in lou of repairs and then get it done with second hand parts.

Typical of Bucks CC to stop gritting what is a well used key road Have been up and down that road countless times to Halton and back. I can well imagine it could have been worse for you. Glad you got out OK.
