I bought mine about 6 years ago for the some of £250 including fees from the DVLA and they did not know the relevance and had to ask.

I have always liked private plates and I am not able to get one to match my initials as my name is Ian, which would mean getting a plate with the number 1 on it, which is just astronomical.

There is a 75 around Farnborough which is 8VC or VC8 looks very smart indeed, worth a bob or two.

There's a BIG 3875 Connoisseur near me, think it's more to do with the family name/combined weight than the proportions of the car though because they also have a 306 outside that begins with BIG.

I wonder if that should really be SX 145? I have heard of our law enforcement friends talking to drivers about plates with 'incorrect' spacing of the characters - apparently it's not strictly legal. Same goes for plates where the font is anything other than the standard block arial-type upper case. Can't deny yours looks smart though!
