You may be ok if you drive every day but I often do not)

My powerfold installation cost me for everything £250 which I am happy with.

I would not want a remote control for the mirrors I fitted them to avoid them getting hit by passing cars not for showing off with.

Your car looks great in metallic red but needs some front fog lights to finish it off. They may cost you more than £75 though

Yet again, what anyone wants to do with their money, then that is up to them. People have different ideas of what things are worth. I paid £400 for a Stag ventilation grill. The grill is chromed on to a very bad alloy which makes them all corrode if they get alot of water and dirt on them (good old BL). There arn´t any left, haven´t been for many years. No one has bothered to get them made again (could be done very convincingly in plastic). I managed to get a new one, never fitted, excellent condition. The grill, sits in front of the windscreen, sets the car off, so for me, it was worth it. Very stupid I know, but I am a bit stupid like most!! Maybe we can leave this subject nowAlan

Congratulations on winning the auction Luciano, you only just beat me to it.

Hope to see them fitted next time we see you.

£75 is a fair price to pay and as they aren't available new at present (over £100) if you want to keep things original then you may have to be prepared to spend that kind of money.

After wanting one for months and missing out on so many, the good news is I've just managed to get one.

Price £75

Russ

I have paid more than £75 for my switch, but it was worth every penny, I live on a narrow street, my previous car had a wing mirror knocked off. Don't want the same thing to happen to my 75.

Wot on earth is the fuss?

I paid £000's for my powerfold switch, though it did come with a V8 attached lol

Seriously £75 is a bargain. I'm pleased you got it Luciano. Hope to see it in place next year

Regards

Mike

Good that a member won it. Shame they are such alot of money but they are pretty rare. Got one wired up the other weekend. Nice upgrade! Just got the easy job of wiring and swapping mirrors now.

Still hunting for a N/S late shape powerfold if anyone knows of one?

The powerfold switchs are very rare, so if you want one and you can afford it, i'd pay what ever i could afford at the time, it is worth £75 probably a lot more as they are so hard to get hold of, luckily i had powerfolds as standard on mine
