Today (and the past week) I've been wracking my brain to figure out how I should go about making a custom intake manifold, so many options!!!
Think I've decided to keep the lower and replace the plastic upper with a composite based design, so if anyone has a spare knackerd plastic manifold for the V6 let me know.

Fitted the in-line thermostat, Temp gauge now sitting bang in the middle rather than at 20 to the hour.
I don't know if the better than normal MPG on my Shap to Newbury run was down to the mod or the splendid weather this afternoon/evening or both. I usually see the average after the 270 mile run around 48-50 , today a smidgen over 52 mpg. |

Replaced lower engine mount but had to lever the engine down a fair bit to allow one of the bolts to get past the sensor attached to the exhaust.
Details and pics in a separate Thread if anyone has the same issue. Well worth the effort ....! John

Well here's something I've never experienced before, came in last night from work no problems at all.
Went shopping today, bit gloomy so on with the lights........ So were these unbranded bulbs, no they were Wotan (Osram) which are E marked and type approved. These were fitted as a pair nine months ago almost to the day when I had the headlights removed to refurbish the lenses. I've never had two headlight bulbs fail simultaneously on any car I've ever owned or driven ever. Spooky or what Brian |

I had a transit which did this twice in a few months. The alternator regulator was failing and after it was changed, no problems.

Undertray off, cleaned and rusting clips renewed. Oil and filter changed. Checked out the auto box for upcoming fluid change. General wipe with a clean cloth. Wire brush, Dremel and paint brush out tomorrow if the weather stays kind!

I've put the Fluke Hydra in the passenger footwell with a couple of inputs from pin 34 and 7 of the LSM connector, and one from the main busbar of the engine compartment fusebox to data log the next few journeys. I'm super curious about this one, nothing like a bit of overkill to satisfy that cat Brian |

Helped the ailing petrol station owners out and filled the Bear's tank up.
