Gold resistor failure
Just had the bumper off to see why my fan is noisy when air on is on. Whoever fitted it needs a word!
 Looks ok so far  Hmmm can’t see a cable  I see what the noise is now!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Both connections to the resistor are corroded badly and the one still attached is about to fail so will replace.

The black wire looks to be in contact with the condenser matrix which is a very bad thing.
