Unhappy my hearts no longer in it

as the tittle says.

ive spent hours on her today and it all seems to be for nothing.

it would seem that her body work is letting her down, i have clayed her and i was expecting some great results, but no

i really do not know what to do, when i go to the meets i want to park her away from all the others.

i brought her in a sorry'ish state hoping that i could turn her around, but it would seem that i just can't.

i have got her running perfectly and she is sweet as a nut.

i am now seriously thinking about selling her, as i have just not got the money to sort out her body.

i really do not know where i am with her right now

any advice would be so gratefully recieved.

here is some pictures of todays failed attempt

not much difference

What would you want us to say?

The car looks perfect to me?

Have you forgotten to clean your glasses?

You'd be surprised how many of us are in the same boat Carla, honestly, you have nothing to be ashamed of nor disappointed with, your car does look good

The majority of us are driving old cars that have marks, I know I am , so honestly, don't take it to heart, just enjoy your car

That looks brilliant after your hardwork. I've never seen a real car, ie one that's actually used, which looks as good in reality as it does in a photo. When I got my 2000, I was really bothered about any chips, rust bubbles, and little dents, but, now, the way I see it is that I use it as much as I can, look after it as well as I can, but cars always age, so it's to be expected. 75s and ZTs seem to clean up so well, even if they've been very poorly treated in the past!

Most of that would disappear with a good machine polish and some localised colour-sanding. Do you know any good detailers?
