My only worry for the new show is that it might be a bit polished. The good thing with say the first 4 series was that they were made on a budget so the sets were not allways the best. But that's part of the charm for me.

It's actually "Back to Reality", one of my favourite episodes! (and I knew the title without looking it up, although I did have to Google the script extract below!)

ANDY (played by Tim Spall): That's the objective of the game for Lister, you twonk! You get separated to begin with and basically it's a love story across time, space, death, and reality. You must have got the easy stuff, though! Here, what did you think of the Planet of the Nymphomaniacs?

RIMMER: The Planet of the what?!

ANDY: What, you missed that?! Oh, that's a riot! Some people spend years on that.

they are making the new ones once more with a audience as they once did . grated the last one dave did didn't have one and maybe lost something.... but it wasn't as bad as some think i would say ... and yes i am a red dwarf fan and have been to a few conventions , seen the main cast a few times ....... taken a few photos .... a good show all round
