Default Badly fitting facia. MGZT 04

Badly fitting facia my MGZT 04, it has the black smoked oak facia and where the central section(lefthand end) and the section with the air bag meet at the top they do not align properly, about 2/3mm adrift. Ive pushed hard on each bit at the top in the hope something would clip in place, no luck. Anyone got/had the same on their car? whats the way to fix it? Thanks for any advice. Chris.S

Remove the main piece of the facia and check the screws are tight in the plastic clip that sits under the main dashboard, these have been known to come loose causing a gap.
