Plenty of rags over the alternator to protect against any spillage.
And if I remember correctly you have to remove the pump pulley for access to the mounting bolts so easier if you loosen the pulley bolts before removing the serpentine belt. |

Ok still needs doing but am stumped.
1. How do you get the the PS Pump off, ie spanner sizes or what type as I have nothing that can fit to get at the nut, and 2. How do I slacken the belt ? Please help....

The undertray has to be removed and the tensioner must be pulled back with a 24mm spanner to allow the serpentine belt to be removed Andrew. Easier with a modified or special spanner but Arctic found a long standard one that does the job.
Before you do that though loosen the 3 small bolts that hold the power steering pump pulley, as that has to come off before the pump can be removed. The spanner sizes are a bit odd (can't remember the exact sizes) but a cheap standard set should have everything required along with an adjustable or two for the hydraulic fittings. |
