Holy Moly! I've just been looking through the kitchen window & a really strong gust of wind has just moved the greenhouse 4 inches sideways I need to bolt it down to the driveway flags tomorrow. I've got some anchor bolts in the stores.

Oh Heck! more steam train woes! 'failure to raise the water scoop before the end of the trough has destroyed it'

Boy is it wild here just had to go and make some steel brackets to bolt the greenhouse down before it takes off, three panes broken because the wind has blew it twisting the frame and cracking the glass I'm miffed.

Full blown return to winter here, snow on the hills, bitterly cold wind and heavy showers.

Another one! Sorry to say Ian but if you were a fireman in the steam days you wouldn't be making a career out of being on the footplate.

LOL, I was a bugs dingaling off raising the scoop I keep making a mess of these steam train scenarios, they don't half use a lot of water

Just managed to sort some glass out for the broken ones in the greenhouse, Found a guy selling some on that 'pre-loved' site down in Warrington. No way am I going to the place I went to in Stockport the other week, they've got nearly every road/motorway under roadworks near the town centre. I feel sorry for anyone that has to put up with that on a daily basis which many do.

£3.50 a pane, going to collect half a dozen tomorrow morning.

Another thing I'll have to sort out!, the sliding door doesn't slide any more took me ages to get that right, even bought two new plastic wheels the door slides on.
It's one step forward two steps back here.

Roast beef dinner for tea that cheered me up a bit.
