I don't know why dentists don't follow marinabrian's lead and offer a service - send them your teeth in the post, they sort out 'em out (bit of catty paste if necessary), give 'em a rub down with fine emery paper and a quick coat of polish and post 'em back to you within 48 hours

There is one consolation - the pork pie shop is on the ground floor immediately below the dentists - so guess what I'm having for lunch
Good morning Rod, if you ever come to Nairobi there are some local dentists offering roadside dentistry in the market. For example, an implant of a tooth on a peg can be screwed back into the jaw for £5-£10. Selected from a canteen of teeth, with different sizes and shades to choose from. I had one done like that in Nairobi, but it was not done in the market. The price of implants in the UK is very expensive, so it might be worth considering

There is an additional premium for Hippo's teeth though.

Why am I thinking 'Jason & the Argonauts with those roadside teeth

Some film trivia I found out recently was that Jason's voice was overdubbed by the ever so proper English tones of Mr Tim Turner who narrated all those Rank organization short films "Look at Life" that I enjoy watching.

It's dark & raining here now.

Fish chips & peas for tonight's tea.

Good evening all.
It seems really strange to be back up at the boat today knowing that Freddie isn't going to be popping over anymore.

Off to the Bridge Inn for dinner shortly, I shall raise a glass to Freddie and let him know up there that I arrived in Norfolk and didn't bring any rain with me!

I haven't spoken to Ed for some time, don't see him in the fb group, and as I don't frequent the pages that are public, I don't see his posts.
