Default wife is thinking of retiring

wife is thinking of retiring, she likes the job but:-
works with a hair brain who makes serious mistakes.
manager is friends with hair brain so wont deal with mistakes.
Employed a person for a full time role but has intimated she will allow
person to reduce their hours.
Has told my wife she cannot agree to her working less hours.
New person is like the hair brain and is friends with manager.
New person currently on maternity leave so is not due to start back at work until January.
Temp person that has been helping for 4 months is still asking same questions.

Does she stay as money is good for part time work?
Does she leave and look for part time work on rubbish money?

I left a well paid job because I was fed up and took a part time job on rubbish money......... but I'm happier.

I'll let my wife decide. Neither of us need to work but do so by choice

Can you turn it round in your minds that this is pocket money and will pay for perks? if you can't then your wife should make a decision........good luck to you both.

If you don't need the money but like to work, why not look at charity work?

One of the charities I've been involved with has just closed its door due to lack of funds. I'm still volunteering with another one
What ever I do it has to be with out regular commitment. Same for the wife, without regular commitment.

She has decided to stay until her parking permit runs out
