Default Daimler pull the plug on ICE

Blimey! Huge news announced by Daimler today that there will be no further ICE development, instead they will be concentrating on electric cars No more Mercedes or AMG ICE power plants https://electrek.co/2019/09/19/daiml...electric-cars/

LOL Oh yeah! For Daimler to throw in the towel on internal combustion engines way before they're supposed to be outlawed in 2035/40 says it's all over bar the shouting now.

They are not the first manufacturer to say this, Volvo announced it about a year ago and I think all manufacturers on the QT have given up on the ICE. Electric is the future with a few looking at hydrogen fuel cells (Audi and Hyundai collaboration comes to mind) which I think is a better option.

Yes, electric or maybe hydrogen is the future, now all we need is for the prices to start coming down.
