could be the fuel pumps as said but poor warm starting on a diesel normally points to the cam sensor, cost around £60 from memory, and easy to fit yourself, located just under the engine cover.

Cam sensor or under bonnet pump, but I'd plump for the sensor.....

Easy way to check, is if the car won't start, take it out, pop it in the freezer to chill it and try again.

Your symptoms seem identical to those I had with my previous 75 and it turned out to be the cam sensor.

Best place to start I'd suggest.

I had this problem also changed cam sensor 2 weeks ago and no problem yet. Sensor cost me £65 and is dead easy to change. good luck.

If it's not any of above, almost certainly one or more of your injectors are suffering from "leakback"

Alan Darby from Lynxdiesels http://www.lynxdiesels.com/
does a very good price on refurbs

Aye, have to agree with Jules. Alan at Lynx Diesels refurbed my injectors and did a great job. So if it turns out to be a 'leakback' problem, give alan a ring. He's helped a few out on the forum.

Cheers, JRT.
