I am working on an plan to replace these with an electrical solution but progress is a little slow at the moment. I have 5 of these valves ready to go.

Something might be worth trying first Lates, give them a pressure check before fitting on a garden hose or something as I reckon vary partial leakage is the achileels heel of these things.

Would it be better to pressure test with hot water, expansion and all.

Tim in search of additional information if you can have a scout about please.

The OE valve tap and servo motor do you know or can find out if the servo purely switches on and off the coolant or uses increments to control the flow ?

I have a cunning plan

Okay, I'll comeback to you but I think its incremental via an actuator.

Beggar !! just means a bit more leg work and not having a 260 next to me makes life a little more awkward.
Right now who is an electrical god to make some notes on the wiring config in relation to valve position and shift the 5 valves here already
