Heater blend motor / coolant valves
Evening gents,
Been busily working away on a secret mission to establish a supply of heater blend valves for your 260's. The valve/motor assembly is currently £270ish plus vat from the dealers.I have sourced supply of replacement valves (less motors) at a price tbc but a lot lot less than retail. Please let me know if this information is of any use as I dont really want to buy them in and have them sat around for a while. |

are theyy an item you need to buy a few of or will your supplier stock them ?? have you had to sort any 260 blend valves and is it a DIY job ( got a 260 in mind but dont know whether the aircon is ok ) |

I can buy them in no problem in multiples of 5 up to 30 for the price I have been quoted. I will buy in 5 to reflect the interest shown online and in email.
The plan is to select a local "guinea pig" to be a recipient of a new valve at a discounted rate and this will in turn lead to a "how to" guide. As the OE assembly is very expensive by supplying the valve alone will provide a more cost effective alternative. We then need to be sure the valve can be replaced by the average diy guy or bring it down to us so we can fit for you.I would prefer the choice to be the clients not ours. There is still a bit of leg work to be done but there is a plan |

SSSSsshhhhh, this part is for the valve in the plenum chamber, next is to work out the valve on the side of the hvac unit which is more complex as I cannot source any documents relating the V8 hvac.I have asked a V8 test pilot to do a little research as well.
Can you guys who have had hvac / air con issues please post your symptoms diagnosis and cure so this may be looked at too. |

Very little unfortunately John, unless I am reading the wrong bit lol. The 260 HVAC differs to the standard 190 set up. The 190 details are a lot easier to find
