Default Replacement keyfob

Hi all,

The main key fob has started to disintegrate. The unlock pad has now become a gaping hole! I have a spare set that will unlock the car but not start it, so it is only 50% useful! What are the options for getting a replacement fob and for getting the spare set to work properly? Ideally i’d like to have two sets of working keys

This is pretty easy to resolve

Speak to CB750Chris in Fareham, he can repair your defective key casing, and programme a replacement key transponder........this will satisfy your key requirements

Much better than paying over £200 for a key from BMW

Just swap the internals to your new key fob, not forgetting the all important transponder

I think the point here is one of the OP's keys has a missing/defective transponder, hence the advice to give Chris a call
