Replacement keyfob
Hi all,
The main key fob has started to disintegrate. The unlock pad has now become a gaping hole! I have a spare set that will unlock the car but not start it, so it is only 50% useful! What are the options for getting a replacement fob and for getting the spare set to work properly? Ideally i’d like to have two sets of working keys |

Speak to CB750Chris in Fareham, he can repair your defective key casing, and programme a replacement key transponder........this will satisfy your key requirements Much better than paying over £200 for a key from BMW Brian |

I think the point here is one of the OP's keys has a missing/defective transponder, hence the advice to give Chris a call
