Question Auto shut-up ...

I've a friend who thinks he can produce an electronic add-on for those of us who are unfortunate not to have electric rear door windows (ie.. Wind-up) , where the T4 option is not, to us, available to close all portals ( front windows & sunroof ).

To gain more info (him not having a 75/ZT) he needs to know the relevance of the BCU pin input plug, as well as the relevant pin input/output information.

Can anyone help please? As I must admit I would like this facility...... Can it be done?

Here goes: There are three connectors in to the GM6 Body Control Unit

54 Pin Black Connector C0660 first:

Next the black 20 pin connector C0661:

Finally, the 18 Pin Black Connector C0662:

Don't ask me what it all means though............but good luck to your friend

If it's just rear electric windows you want why not fit an aftermarket 'Spal' kit and use an origional switch pack.

That's my problem... the rear windows are manual wind.... hence no T4 option

The kits in the link are aftermarket and can be fit to any car. I have fitted a couple to zs's. Unless i've missed something? There would be no need for T4

Excellent bit of info..... thanks ... Ref the 20way 0661.. the 4 off pin pairs window 1 or 2 .... my guess ? that these are the outputs to the window motors, eg.. 1 is up and 2 is down or vice versa ??? am I close ?.

thanks

Chris
