Hmmm I might remove the Rover one from the 623 GSI and fit it into the 75 now I think on it.

If it's an orginal Rover fire extinguisher it's probably well past its shelf life. I'd kept that for shows (if originality is important to you) and get a brand new one. The 2kg dry powder 'Easi' one I think it's called from Gloria is very good and fitted as OEM by Land Rover. Safelincs sell them online

Yes it is the oginal Rover branded one but teh guage is still in the green. I believe they can be serviced.

Thats a nice posh clean boot you have there Gaz.
You are most certainly correct in saying 'you never know' I had our first bought Ford Galaxy go up in flames one day whilst out driving, thankfully I was on my own, and on the way to the blooming dentist, some years ago now. It had a overheating problem 2 weeks before, it was fixed at my local garage. We reckon the fan relays were to blame, had too much stress from the overheating, gave-up caught fire and melted the flames must have been 15/20ft high. |
