High car tax
Hi,
Yes, the car I have had since 2009 is a facelift 2l Diesel Con SE. The car tax for 12 months is £220. I have just acquired a 2003 2l Con SE auto. Both required tax at end sept and the 2003 was £330. I am not sure exactly why but told it is based on emissions. It is something I was going to ask here, but you beat me to it. No doubdt someone will be able to expand on the reason |

I have an automatic diesel and am miffed at the difference between manual and automatic, I believe it's down to the mpg ,so it appears we must asfixiate more squirrels than manual drivers

Just looked at both V5 docs.
My 2004 facelift shows 163g/KM The 2003 shows 190G/KM So must be the emmissions |
