Saltburn - a bit of a dead end - especially for the railway tracks

Default Out of work

Well after the p m's broadcast tonight, all but key workers are being told they can't go to work. Will see what offers of help they come up with tomorrow,if its miniscule, then I will go round the local supermarkets and see if they want any delivery drivers.

My local Tesco was recruiting delivery drivers last week, in the store at a stand, so you might stand a chance.

We have Tesco Sainsbury's Asda and Morrison's along with Iceland, so will try them all.

Good morning Richard, the coach and travel company my niece and her husband own in the Midlands, was ordered to close by the government last week. If they had been allowed to run, I’d made sure they would have given you an interview, although a long way from where you live. I hope something turns up for you soon.

Good morning all, how is everyone? I had an email at 05:00 today from UK gov, saying “return home now”. We have decided to stay. Tough times ahead for all of us where ever we are in the world. The miserable doomsayers can go and do one

Morning all, what a weird situation. It was one of those things we were all expecting but it still came as a shock.

Yeah I didn't do a very good job of stopping at the correct point at Saltburn station as the back carriage was over the rail lines and I opened the doors . I didn't get very many points for that I'm blaming the brakes on these things, they're rubbish This was a 'Holiday' special' from Darlington-Saltburn.
