Can't help with the feet enlargement thing. If you find the cause and can apply to the men's sausage area you will make a fortune.

I found with shoes I wore and small pedal boxes, I could be hitting 2 pedals. That and getting hard skin on the heels due to extended periods keeping a foot on the accelerator (on motorways) and I tried something different.

Driving in socks. A revelation. Can drive any cars no matter how small the pedal box. Have better "feel" as less between the pedal and foot.
