Morning everyone.
Still ticking over down here. Going to venture out today and see if I can get a bit of shopping. Need to get out in the fresh air. Not raining at the moment.

Morning Bob, just remember you need to buy at least 80 loaves of bread and all the pasta you can fit in a trolley, that’s how you survive a crisis like this

Morning all, beautiful sunny morning here, First time out me pit with this stinking cold, I feel lousy & sweated buckets for the last two days.
I should have gone for an haircut before I self isolated, I look like wurzel gummidge I'll just wear me flat cap indoors.

Frosty here this morning. Been making plans if I have to self isolate, I will take the caravan to my aunt’s house and live in the empty property for a couple of weeks. The reason for the caravan is so I can use the fridge lol. There are no white goods in the house other than the oven and dishwasher. Will take my portable telly and some claes and stop there.

A lot of this you will know. If you can, get yourself a humidifier/dryer machine for when the contractors have left. Claim it from the insurance. You will need the machine to suck the water out from the walls, the floors and the ceiling if mould or damp reappears. Sadly it can come back if the damp coarse and proofing is skipped. Check they are doing the damp proofing for the floors, windows properly. The last thing you need is black mould making an unwelcomed appearance on any wall. |

Morning folk - from the prison that is now my world for the next few weeks. Today is the first day of our self isolation - we've set up a system that our daughter and/or son will help re-stock our food supplies - leaving them in our garage for us to access when they've gone so we don't infect each other.
To be honest, I'm not going to miss the weekly shopping trip - it's bad enough in 'normal' times - at the moment it's like the prelude to the end of the world. We've stocked up the alcohol cabinet - 2 x 1 litre bottles of Bombay Sapphire gin and gallons of slimline tonic - getting priorities right

Alcohol is selling as well as the toilet rolls down here, I suppose if your going to be stuck in the house, you may need something to get you through..

Been shopping in Tesco's in Callington. The only shortages appear to be hand soap of any kind, and sanitizer.
You can buy 3 packs of pre-packed bananas but only 3 loose ones. That goes for mushrooms as well. Daft!!! Plenty of toilet rolls, paracetamol, pasta and stacks of booze.
