Evening all, Looks like another "BIG" shop is on the cards tomorrow to see if there's any bog roll left before they confine all old F**ts to barracks I need to go to Wilko's to get some more seeds & stuff, I was going to jump on the train to Wilko's in Wigan as it's quicker to do that than drive into Bolton Ridiculous!

Mind you I don't want to catch that galloping gut rot !!!

Good luck with the shopping, Deb says her store have been taking 10k above target each day, that tells you the amount of stuff people are panic buying.

Morning Phil,

Not too bad here, only one client to see today and it’s not till 14.00hrs.
A quiet day in store for me

How is your quarantine going ?
Hope you have everything you need to ‘wait it out’?

Morning Phil, Jeff and all, having coffee before work here, the roads in Norfolk are as busy as they normally are, not many working from home in this area.

Morning all - 'tis bright and sunny here too, although it's still cooler than I would like it to be.
I may have to make a mercy dash to Blackpool today - wife and her sister have been on a National Holidays bus trip there for a couple of days. Got a text message last night to say Angela was not well with all the symptoms of eating something with gluten in it. She was very specific when making the booking that the hotel could supply gluten free food for her, but it looks as if whatever she ate yesterday evening was either NOT gluten free, or had been contaminated in the kitchens.
Now waiting for a decision whether she's coming back on the coach later this afternoon or whether she wants me to go across and pick her up - 130 miles each way roughly.

The good news - is that SWMBO says she is "OK" and will come home on the coach. By the time I could have got to Blackpool, the coach would be getting ready to leave - so no time would be saved - I just thought she may be more comfortable in the car - but she's the boss!
The bad news - the postie has just delivered the Council Tax bill - £1,777.86 for the year

It won’t do you any harm Jeff to have a quiet day. I am on day 7 since arriving back in Nairobi and I am still feeling okay, no fever, no breathlessness, no complaints. We don’t go out at night and stay in watching TV, read a book, photography. There is always a photo to edit. I can easily escape into YouTube or watch movies.....Last year Jessica started to learn to play the keyboard and as you know, it’s easy to spend several hours on boards without seeing the time go. We are lucky to have good weather and our bedroom overlooks the forest, the birds visit and so do the monkeys. Not bored yet.

7 more days to go. I am concentrating on boosting my immunity with a daily portion of live yoghurt, Vitamins D&C.

Kenya doesn’t have the infrastructure to be able deal with the virus
in the same way as the UK, which is why the Kenyan government is having to be vigilant and strict in isolating anyone who has just returned from the UK, Italy, Spain etc,

I think it’s going to be a downer for anyone who lives on their own to have to go into self quarantine for weeks or months, in particular if they don’t have any family or friends looking in....that must be a living hell.
