Good morning Richard, good morning all. In answer to your question, there is only an intermittent dull ache and no breathlessness. To look at, I don’t appear to be ill at all. But as a precaution, I contacted 111 and they said with my history to call 999. I said I don’t need an ambulance and I am not panicking or going to A&E and that was at 01:30. I took two Paracetamol and called it a night

This morning I am getting on with things, I have lots to do.

A busy day for you Richard picking up the van, how exciting

A very belated 'good morning' to one and all - I've had a super long soak in the shower, and that was after a super long lie in too
It really is a glorious morning out there, the sun is blazing and if you stand directly in its rays there is some genuine warmth out there.
It's Friday - that means it's top up the larder day - what joy.

Oh thank you Ian. I suspect it’s a small Pneumothorax, a small collapse of the lung caused by the vomiting episode I had with the food poisoning in November. A small Pneumothorax usually fixes itself without any intervention. I didn’t fancy going to the hospital and sitting in A&E waiting to be seen with others coughing and spluttering their bugs and virus everywhere.

Thank you for your good wishes, most kind

Earlier on today, I visited Lidl and the man at the till said they had run out of toilet rolls. When they come in again, a pack of rolls will be restricted to no more than 2 packs per customer. Paracetamol was sold out.

Evening all got my new van, very pleased with it. Spent the afternoon putting new floor lining in the loadspace, and fitting all the mon ficed stuff. Tomorrow I will have to fit all the brackets and wire the battery for the pump into the charging system.
