Evening all, the weather turned dry from about midday, managed to walk the dogs then do some car stuff, the wind was howling a bit though.

Evening Andy and all ... I don't envy you out in this ... Wind was biting when i left off work. Looking to be dry tomorrow too but typically is due to rain Mon on my day off. All the bits for a new pc should arrive at some point during the day so not all bad

Cool

.......................... and the rain and cold wind is back. Been on and off all day.

Still not feeling my best I’ve stayed in today but am hoping to go out tomorrow down to Par market. Need a few things and the Bear needs a run.

Evening all, wet and windy outside tonight, been a busy day, was at a funeral this morning, then had to go to my late aunt’s house to try and sort the boiler which has been off for a few days. Managed to get it going again, hopefully it will sort itself out, left it on but e=en after almost an hour the rads were only just warm and the water was lukewarm, so think I may have to get a gas engineer out. Then it was back home and out again for an appointment with the bank, a bit of shopping on the way home, then it was bath time and beer o clock

Evening all Last night when I turned the lights out, I could hear the wind and the rain bashing against the bedroom window. It had a soporific effect and gave the best sleep I have had in ages.

Wednesday evening, I am meeting the surgeon in Bristol to confirm the results of the scan I recently had. He was a radiologist before he became a surgeon and he will be able to tell me about the CT scan I had in Nairobi. The CT found a growth in the right lung. The doctors in Nairobi said it is nothing to worry about, they could not see Cancer. That was reassuring, but I will ask the surgeon in Bristol to confirm their findings. On Sunday I am due to fly back to Africa

Indeed, another busy day tomorrow, food shopping in the morning, run the daughter to a music rehearsal in the afternoon, and then eye test following that, and finally back to pick her up again. Still no van yet, but hoping for news on Monday or Tuesday, then if it’s good, buy it and get it kitted out with all my equipment and get working again.
