Erics Pully After. just for info .
Just had a peep at erics duff Pulley .. just for info .
Seems the 2 halves had parted around the Centre Boss , which is part of the front most/aux pulley . just outside the red Ring And the clattering is the Lug banging against the sides of the recess in the outer ring. So in fact there was nothing really holding the Outer/larger/Aux section on . just the Uneven torn rubber .. So lucky its did not fly off and take off the aux belt etc with it . I've cut off the rubber around the largest diam in the photo to show. and As we had a bit of hassle with the Locking tool as it was. it kept popping off , I've found a piece of 60mm exhaust pipe and used this to knock up a locator tube to hold it in better, as most of the other ones i've seen have.. So got a tool now for low renting ? to peeps, save buying one for a one off job . C.

I had one like that, only found out when towing a caravan home from Cornwall!
The temp gauge on the diesel would rise as I was going uphill, turns out when I accelerated, the 'outer' of the pulley would stop turning and stall all the other items on the aux belt... Twas a long drive home.
