The one that was just written was doing 47, but my route is mainly motorway

LPG conversion correctly done will give you 300 350 miles on a tank and be half the price of petrol ! but will take some time to recoup expense of fitting.
With my diesel I average 48 52 mpg 0n motorway and around 30 mpg in town if I were tro go back to petrol it prob be a v6 and i would have lpg fitted for sure.

Just talked to LPG expert and he says with an1.8 you could expect 400-45O depending how heavy your right foot is and full kit and fitting around £600 he says he can't remember when he last put petrol in his car as it is only used to start car then switches to LPG so it might be worth considering the idea. If you wanted advice I am sure he be happy to talk to you about pros and cons and all the other stuff q

Sorry Matt, I must have missed yours, had a few requests for a price, but its same as I have I said on the PM to others.

I want a monogram diesel if I were to move on, so having a few £K in the bank doesn't solve my issue.

I think Ill just look to buy one, and then sell on Shrek.

Thanks for the interest.

Simon
