I bought a duel USB 12 volt charger from that Bang good site (the missus says that name sounds like a porn site ) for my smartphone (my phone didn't come with a car charger), It has an intelligent chip and can charge multiple different devices that have different currents. It shows your car battery voltage & different currents going into whatever you've got plugged into it and all for £3.09 delivered

How do they do it!

And how, may I ask, does your missus know

Looks like a useful little bit of kit that - I usually run with at least two power leads connected - dashcam and standalone satnav - so that would be very useful. I have a second charging socket in the armrest cubby hole, so that looks after phone charging.

LOL Ah! Memories of a sex life At a glance It's very useful to check your car battery/alternator health just by turning the key. I turn the ignition on, it gives you the standing charge of the car battery (12.2) then when I start the car the readout goes to 14.4 which means the alternator is working properly, very cool indeed

Can I just advise caution when considering telling your wife/partner that you've been looking at the bang good website. Apparently its only a concussion.

Keep us posted Derek when you can. All sorts of things can play tricks on the mind. It could also be your blood gases need checking and those O2 levels
Or not drinking enough fluids Its good to hear the nurse is popping in. On top of that, what you wrote is clear and sensible, a good sign of sanity

Good afternoon all, Bit of a to-do going to into Bolton at some traffic lights! three ne'er do wells took something from a ladies car & ran off, I think they took her handbag off the passengers seat. I had it on the dash cam, When I got back home I downloaded the files onto my PC but when I tried to play them it said..... This file isn't playable. That might be because the file type is unsupported, the file extension is incorrect, or the file is corrupt.

I don't know if I've accidentally altered something on the dash cam (never had a problem before) but I've tried a few different codecs and media players to no avail.

I'll have another try later but the only trouble is I deleted the files off the dash cam when the upload was completed to this Win 10 PC , I never have a problem with owt on my Linux PC's

I'll make some tea, My fav, smoked haddock

Spent a worthwhile afternoon - making fruit gin
Ideally, it would be sloe gin, but our favourite blackthorn trees were removed to make way for new housing, so sloes are in short supply. Answer - our own home-grown rasps as a substitute - just used up 2 litres of Bombay Dry Gin and put the results in a dark, cool place to mature
