Default Alpine IDA-X001

I’m about to receive one of these (surplus to daughter’s requirements, as it can't be made to work with her iPhone 5), and I wondered about fitting it to my car… it is steering wheel compatible, but if course I’ll need an adapter, and I’m guessing the current one won’t help (Peugeot 206)?

Any chance that one WILL work in the Roveroid, or where I might get the right one otherwise?

Thanks

Depending on the Model of Rover you have and the current unit you will need one of these with an Alpine Patch Lead.

Yes, that was remiss of me - it's a 54 plate CDTI. Currently it has a Pioneer DEH-7300BT unit fitted.

Does that mean I'd only need to buy the Alpine patch, ie could I use the existing stalk control adapter, do you think?

That's right, you just need to get the Patch Lead for the Alpine. http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/autol...-adaptors.html

Just follow the instructions on changing patch leads..... (In the box).
