Default E05 or E10 fuel

Just put my 260 back on the road but cannot recall which fuel is required. Advice appreciated.

i think you could use E10 but personally i play safe and use E5. I know that 95 ron is supposed to be all that's required but i feel happier with the super e5.

MGR say that as far as octane is concerned, the minimum is 95 RON (so E10). For both ZT260 and Rover 75 V8 of course.
However 98 RON is recommended for "optimal performance".
I always use Super E5 anyway (my local pump guarantees 0% alcohol as well).

E5 if you want to get the optimum performance from your 260. It will do better MPG and feel sharper.

I never use E10 in my car or bikes.

2 mpg on my 260 Steve. With the 6ppl price differential it makes it more costly to use E5. That though might be mitigated with fuel system wear and crud build up. Who knows?
