Default 150pc Tool Box with Tools

Top Tech 150pc Tool Box with Tools £27.99 was £61.20 with FREE delivery.

HERE!

Used code TX15ZG to get a further 15% OFF, brings the price down to £23.79.

The regular site code SERVICE15 and the Club code 75ZTCLUB do not work.

Looks impressive with the bright red metal tool box, but once you inspect it properly, its just a cheap socket set normally bought for under £10, without the box (dont forget you got spanners aswell).

I see your point about the socket set, but in all honesty, you can pay a lot more than £23 for the tool box alone.

Whist I appreciate that we're not talking "Snap On" quality, even a relatively 'el cheapo' make like Clarke, a similar box is £23.98 inc from Machine Mart.

It might be worth buying just for the box, keep a couple of the more handy tools, and throw the rest in the bin

I have just bought this as you cannot go wrong at £23.79. In fact the invoice said list price was £99.99. The tools are not top quality but are OK for the amount of DIY use they will get from me. Useful tool box to keep in the car for emergency use.
Ideal present if you have got a son who has just got his first car.

Yeah but if the tools break on 1st use (due to the Chinese monkey metal they are probably made of) !!!!

But as said the box may be worth it

I had a look at these yesterday and decided I was better off with what I have.

The quality isn't the best but at that price it's a great starter set. If you added a decent ratchet to it it should last a while and the box is quite a bonus.

'A whole weeks wages' - that says it really doesn't it , not cheap! Whats £23 these days? at the most a mornings wages.

Myself? I've still got my metrinch 3/8" set that cost the princely sum of £40 (from Argos of all places) some 30 ish years ago (about half a weeks wages) - Try getting the same for under £150 now... (yes I broke the ratchet, last year - but that was my own stupid fault for not using a breaker bar.

I only counted about 78 pieces, the rest are what looks like screws and rawl plugs.
