Default 2.5 V6 idle control valve

Idle control valve, where can I buy new? I live in Istanbul.
Rimmer doesn't just sell valves.

Which part do you need from this diagram Ozcan?

There are other diagrams for cars with traction control and/or cruise control.

Default Hi

Part number three.
But that piece is actually 2 pieces as a stump and a valve, the rimmer sells 2 pieces together.

I've bought item 3 recently. It's the idle control valve housing with the stepper motor.

What are your fault symptoms Ozcan?

Default Hi

I found the workaround to avoid this situation by somewhat blocking the bypass air intake.

I tried several used idle valves, the situation did not change. Frankly, I don't know what caused this situation, it bothers me that I can't diagnose.

I had that (sometimes higher!) and a replacement stepper motor cured it.

The kv6 has upon startup a fast idle from cold as programmed into the EMS. This aids warm up and instructs the alternator to give a high output to assist battery charge up. Once warmed up it reverts back to normal operation. Depending on the weather condition temperatures at the time also comes into play. I have found that the throttle body cable and return springs , even if not worn excessively , play an important role in this. The return throttle body spring need to be cleaned regularly to remove engine dust , and kept moving freely to and from from the stops. Worn channels occur in the cable sheaths on old cables which do not help either and can cause slight sticking in some cases. I use to use a spray to clean the spring and then lightly oil it. This works for a while but returns again. I now use a decent blob of grease to encase it and yes it does attract dust but that is easily removed and re applied. Im not saying that this is the cause of your problem but it has kept my similar problem away for a long time now, even after replacing the whole stepper/ idle unit with a new one , and having changed the throttle body for another used one in the first instance. All these things help .

Soon after I move into my present bungalow, I fitted replacement doors and windows. I found the following firm offering the same items as the 'names' in the business but at much lower prices. There customer help was excellent with queries, both on the phone and website. I haven't looked on the site for ages but you will probably find some help there.

Stewart, I think you have accidentally posted in the wrong thread. We're not discussing uPVC windows here! If you ask a moderator they will move it for you.
