Default Can front camber be adjusted

My understanding is that it cannot be but I saw a post in the general forum where someone said they had their front adjusted "as it was a late model car, not an early model car".

I had 2 4 wheel alignments in the last 2 weeks. First one (A suspension specialist) all showed camber as correct however the car was still pulling to the left. I went to a tyre specialist (Been dealing with him for years) who checked and his equipment told him the left camber was positive and the right one negative and he said he had his equipment calibrated 2 days earlier. He told me the front camber could not be corrected. Car still pulling to left even with new tyres.

The camber isn't adjustable directly. Only the front and rear wheel toe is adjustable on all models, all years. There's a certain degree of interconnection betweeh some wheel parameters, so adjusting the toe may well change the camber slightly, but the system design ensures the correct toe will maintain the rest in spec. There are ways to alter camber on the rear for example, by using eccentric mountings but it's a non-standard method.

Pulling left (or more specifically, drifting left) is a known characteritic if these cars. There are umpteen threads about it. Search for 'PLS' or '#LDP#' and to locate one or two.

re: Drifting left. I have read many threads on it but most people (But seems not all) seem to sort theirs out. Even with a new set of tyres of the front mine is still going to the left. I would say it is a pull to the left but my tyre guy thought it is a drift. If the camber is out it seems I am stuck, he thought all bushes look good and to my knowledge the car has never had an accident.

My journey continues .....

Mine did that, turned out to be the rear axle trailing arm bush... Was fine after that!

It affects the thrust angle, which controls the car's normal drive line. The rear thrust angle is the datum point for all the rest and is (should be) the very first adjustment made when they do the tracking. If it varies when driving, the car will be all over the shop.

Also, on a right leaning camber it goes straight.

That's not quite the effect I noticed from the #LDP#. Mine drifts right. No amount of tracking will eliminate it (DLP) completely because road camber seems to be a contributory factor. My tracking was done twice by MGR agents using the latest rigs, but hasn't eliminated the effect. Tyre wear on all four wheels is textbook true. If wheel tracking isn't right, tyre wear will soon show it on these cars.

EDIT: Have you checked the condition of the lower central (hub) ball joint and the rear bush?

Bush was replaced when I bought the car (Only done 6,000KM since), it looks fine and the mechanic thought it was fine. Mechanic said he checked ball joints.

I have noticed on the right side a little bit of knocking when going over bumps but the right side camber is fine as is the bush. I don't know if a bad ball joint on the right could result in pulling left and wear to the outside of the left tyre - I imagine not.

I too have had the left pull effect and after very very careful resetting on a 4 wheel laser system they got it right. Road tested on flat road between each settings. Apparently there was no discernable difference on the test gear between the final and penultimate setting but it worked and still works. Thank you Micheldevor Tyre Services.

I have recently developed a similar issue, my tracking was out on the nearside as i had outside leading edge tyre wear on both nearside wheels due to potholes. So 2 new tyres and tracking done, I thought problem sorted. But I found on my jolly up the M1 to the NE last weekend, i was getting a slight drift to the left and pulls to the left when I break. This is only noticeable at motorway speeds, considering the age of my car I am going to get my bushes checked out and I will report back any finding.
