Do a search for the FOC (Fabled Orange Clip)

This is often the cause of a non start issue.

Located under the rear seat, the fuel filter can start to separate, causing starting issues. Fitting the FOC prevents this.

Hope this helps and you get it sorted.

That is exactly what happened to my last 75, unpleasant and scary to say the least, fishing around in half a tank of petrol to reassemble the two halves and then install a stainless self tapping screw (alternative to FOC) whilst trying not to blow myself up or faint from petrol fumes.

It could also be the crank sensor, that would stop it starting if it fails, much more pleasant job to swap too...

Fuel Filter Syndrome (FFS) is the most common cause of sudden non-starting in later petrol models. The Fabled Orange Clip (FOC) is the default permanent fix. A search for 'FFS' and for 'FOC' will pull out all you need to know.
