Great, thanks Julian. All I need now is to see the GUI and compare it to the Intravee/Alpine setup. Do you use the rotary radio control knob to search etc on the Dension? Let me know if you get a chance to take a few pics tomorrow.
Thanks again. All the retailers I speak to can't answer any questions specific to the highline head unit so your help is very much appreciated. Ben |

Hi Ben,
Here goes with a sample picture. In the top row you get to see either the playlist, album, artist or song depending on whether you selct CD1, 2 etc. You then use the forward/back arrow buttons to move between playlists, albums etc. For long names the entry scrolls across so you see it in full. Definitely not as slick to look at as the Intravee but it all works perfectly . You can also use the steering wheel control to move along playlists, albums etc. Hope this helps you decide. Cheers, Julian. P1000890.JPG |

Thanks again Julian. I am really sorry to be a pain, but if you don't mind would you please explain how you would search for, select and start playing a playlist or a song or album, starting from that screen?
If you press the forward/back arrow buttons does it actually start playing the next song/album/playlist etc? Or does it allow you to scroll through until you actually select a song/album/playlist? Thanks muchly Ben |

Hi Ben,
I won't be using the car for the next few days due to work travel. Suggest you contact Dension as you seem to have a ton of very detailed questions. Cheers, Julian. |

A couple of us (Greeners and myself) are trying to make up the link lead.
Could anyone give us the pin connections between the 10 way and the 6 and 3 way connectors, please. |

I ask because the photos in the first post show four wires going to that connector. There's an Orange you don't mention, and the Green (Right+) goes to the three pin in the photo which has Gnd 12v and Kbus. I guess I should ignore the wire colours and go by the pin descriptions? Understand your confusion.
From notes I dug out I think I once checked this adapter[first post].
