ROVER's @ Michelham Priory Nr E'bourne 21st June

P6 /P5 & P4 clubs are all attending + All Rovers from 1904 - 2005 Welcome... http://www.p6roc.co.uk/Events.asp SUNDAY 21ST JUNE TEDDY BEARS PICNIC MICHELHAM PRIORY This year, the Rover P4 Drivers Guildís Teddy Bears picnic moves to Michelham Priory just off the A22 at Upper Dicker, near Hailsham in East Sussex, about 6 miles north of Eastbourne. The Priory was founded in 1229 and still retains many of its original features. After the dissolution of the monasteries in 1537, .it became a house underwent various transformations including the addition of a Tudor wing. It has extensive gardens, a good restaurant and gift shop. The nearby watermill was recently refurbished. The range of furniture and artefacts on display trace the properties history from its religious origins through life as a working farm and its development as a country house. For further information visit the web site www.sussexpast.co.uk . Cars taking part in the event will enter the grounds via the 14th Century gatehouse, paying the group rate admission charges of £5 per adult and £3.15 per child aged between 5 and 15 years (teddies free) and will park near the house. .The grounds open from 10.30 a.m. until 5 p.m. This is an informal event and pre-booking is not necessary. All Rover enthusiasts and their Rovers of any age from 1904 to 2005 are welcome and we hope that everyone will bring their teddies to enjoy the day. Shame I wont have time to stop, Should be passing nearby on my way from HAstings to Brighton on Sunday afternoon (RBR Stage 10).

Shame we couldn't contact the organisers. At the time you'll be passing they will probably be going home. Could have had a convoy.
