I haven't got regular access to a rolling road so can't quantify this. According to my colleague, who was a competition driver, the performance difference can be quite noticeable.
Luckily we are on the edge of the Cotswold Hills so we have some long steep inclines on which we can set up and test drive the cars with the computers attached to the data ports.
Most people want economy so we usually don't go beyond matching the petrol, or perhaps a little less. We also don't really have the time to experiment, we just set them up as 'standard'.
I'm a cheapskate so haven't even tried it on mine for fear of using too much fuel. (Got to save up again after using so much last Sunday )

That's an OMVL system, same as I have done on my V6. OK, nothing to do with the boot, just showing that I'm awake!

There are quite a few people that seem to be interested in an LPG V8 - myself included. If and when we ever did anything about that - is it worth us getting together for some form of discount?!

Bernard is an installer and may well have some figures in mind or that he could put together, give him time to think about it.
