Crankshaft sensor.
Hi. My brother is going to change my crankshaft sensor. Is it a socket he will need or any special tool he will need. Cheers.

No need for special tools. It's held in place by an 8 mm bolt. After removal of the bolt you can pull out the sensor.

Nothing special needed. Petrol engine crank sensors need a standard hex socket and the diesel needs an Allen key. The sensors are held in position with a single bolt. All these are shown in the Haynes manual.
