Well it came off today Managed to snap a load of breather pipes, they were that brittle, just moving them would snap them clean in two!
Managed to separate it and sure enough rod had come off the butterflies, and DEEP JOY! It's as slack as you like! Fit rod back on, and promptly watch it fall straight back off again. I may have found a replacement, depends how much he wants for it, but until I get one, would it be better to have the butterflies wedged open or shut? I'm tempted to just seal them shut and be done with it. First KV6 I've had so still trying to get my head round these power valves! |
